PREDICT THE END OF THE WORLD
CONTEST!

d'Oro wants to know how and when you think the world will come to an end!
Who will cause it? Whose fault will it be? Why will it happen? When will it
happen? What will happen to Humans, to other life forms? How do you know?
Rules:
1. All contestants
must answer the questions posted in the text fields below.
2. Entries by employees of PPP Publishing, employees of government organizations
with inside information about end of the world scenarios, relatives of John
the Evangelist (or whoever wrote Revelations), or anyone who has posted
a failed prediction in the last 3 months are not allowed.
Deadlines:
All entries must
be received no later than midnight on the day the world ends.
Judging & Prizes:
1. All legitimat entries will
be posted to this website.
2. Entries will be judged for imagination, plausibility and, of course,
accuracy.
3. Entries that prove false and inaccurate will be deleted when their time
elapses.
†Entrants whose predictions are eliminated due to their not
coming to pass will be rewarded with continued life
(barring unforseen, personal accidents).
4. The winning entry will, obviously, never be known or acknowledged.
‡This is an instance where it is probably preferrable to be
wrong than right as there is no point in being right
if there is no one else around to point out that you were right and they
were wrong! Perhaps there are also other instances
where it is better to be wrong than right?

the world end? (Please be very specific: give date and time and time zone
so that others may try to leave at the last moment)
2. How will the
world end? (Ex. God will..., Tornadoes will..., A giant shark will..., Dick
Cheney will..., etc.)
3. Describe in
detail what will actually happen, where it will begin, etc.
4. Will anyone
escape and if so, how?
5. Where did
you get your information to make your prediction? (How do you know?)
